I have an Apple tv 4k. System is 18.1. The remote has unpaired from the Unit. I have tried to both reset the remote and re-pair the remote (using both the Back button + Volume up and TV control + Volume down). I have tried to restart the system and unplugged and replugged. My biggest concern is that when I try to re-pair the Remote, the light on the Apple TV does not blink when I press the buttons. Please advise.

You did not mention if they remote has a full charge on it or not, when was the last time you charged it?
It has charged for over 3hrs
