I am trying to connect my new iPhone 15 Pro to my MacBook Air 2014. IOS is v11.07.10.
USB Cable is allowing charging of iPhone.
I want to add music to my device.
iPhone does appear on Finder or Music app on Mac.

If you're following those instructions and it's still not working, try a different cable. Make sure you get one that is certified for data, since many, including perhaps the one you are using, can be for charging only and cannot carry data.
