Hi,

This is a user to user support forum for end users of Apple's products and services. You're not talking directly to Apple here. Unfortunately Apple Gift Cards can be abused by criminals in a variety of scams. A classic is to hijack someone's email address, claim that there is some form of crisis going on and that the only way you can help is purchase a gift card and send them the code. Everything in such an email may be fake, including any links to support. See About Gift Card Scams - Apple Support for details. I hopefully I am wrong.

The correct contact for Apple Support is https://support.apple.com/.

I just sent pictures of a apple card I purchased for $500. I was told that it was bad although when I purchased it it was in a sealed envelope. The support person I talked to send me a link to send the pictures of the card and receipts. The link would not let me send the pictures. I just successfully sent the pictures of the bad card to a chat supervisor whom I have lost contact with. I was promised a new good $500 apple card would be sent to my Email. which is mail@hotmail.com. I bought this card for my daughter and she was distressed when the card was no good. I'm 83 years old and have purchased thousands of dollars with apple cards but have never had this problem. Please help by getting my money returned to me with a good $500 apple card. Thanks you for you help it is greatly appreciated. Albert M.
