iPhone 16 Pro Max Screen Protector Unresponsive

My iPhone 16 pro max worked perfectly fine without a screen protector, but upon installing the rhino shield 3D Impact Protector Pro on my phone, I could feel a significant drop in the screen's responsiveness. I am on IOS18.1 as of currently. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue still even after IOS18.1 update?
