WhatsApp 'connecting' issue on my iPhone 16 Pro Max

Since i switched to iPhone 16 pro max, i am facing logging on to WhatsApp. It keep showing “connecting” and then after a very long time it connects and downloads messages. Till then neitherI can browse nor can I send any messages.
