Vlookup formula to display a zero

Is it possible for the Vlookup formula to display a zero result if it does not find the value it is looking for? Also, is it possible for the formula to sum the values each time it finds the searched word?

You can put IFERROR around it. When VLOOKUP does not find a result, it is an error. IFERROR catches it and returns whatever you tell it to.

Have you considered XLOOKUP instead? Unless you need a lookup function that lets you use a number to specify which column to return, there isn't much need to use VLOOKUP. XLOOKUP was a parameter for "not found" built right into it.
