Song metadata not updating

Hi everyone, recently my iphone music app doesn't display certain metadata after syncing from itunes. for example it doesn't show metadata for certain genre of music although it has synced to my phone. for example in the screenshots below i have music with the genre "darksynth" on itunes but it doesn't reflect on my iphone after syncing. any solution to this? i have even tried to delete the entire library of music on my iphone and resyncing it from itunes but that hasn't worked. my iphone currently has ios 18, this problem didn't happen while i was on ios 17.
