How can I switch to AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss?

New iPhone 16 Pro Max. Dropped TMobile insurance. Want AppleCare. Still says I have AppleCare on Apple Site. Help!

I purchased a 16 PM in September 2024 through T-Mobile. I unenrolled in T-Mo insurance, but on Apple’s site it says I’m still covered by AppleCare. I want to switch to Apple’s AppleCare + Theft and Loss. Apple does not seem to understand the problem. I no longer have coverage through T-Mo’s insurance and want to add apple care as im still in the 60 day window.
