Logi Options+ doesn't work with several MacOS users [M650 L]

Hi! I've been using Logitech M650 L mouse with my Macbook pro M2 pro for last couple of weeks and everything seemed to work great (using bluetooth). However, I've recently created another user on my computer and now my mouse starts to go crazy whenever I switch accounts. Basically it seems like Logi Options+ can't handle saving settings and working simultaneously on two different accounts. Just after switching from one user to another the software can't recognize my mouse and closes randomly. Right now it doesn't start on one account (it doesn't even show loading screen) but tolerably works on second. Usually (but not always) everything is ok after couple of minutes but during this time it's not usable because of default sensitivity and natural scrolling.

I tried resetting settings, syncing them through Logitech account on both macbook accounts and this. Nothing helps. Has anyone encountered this kind of problem?

Thanks for replying! I gave Logi Options a chance but still it didn't work. Nevertheless I found LinearMouse - little app that basically does the same job as Logi Options+. And it works like a charm! So I think problem is solved :)

If I try to look up software for my mouse on Logitech's site, it very ridiculously tells me there is none. Well, there has to be something they offer to assign the buttons, yes?

I did first find, and was using the newer Logi Options+ with my M330, but it seemed like massive overkill for the drive space it takes up for just a mouse driver.

So, maybe try the older Logi Options software. That also can't be found on Logitech's site with a search (could this be the worst web site ever?). Anyway, I found the previous software by doing a general Google search.

So, if you want to try that rather than the + version, go here. And there's a trick to that. You'll have about two seconds to click the right hand download button for the Mac version. Then a popup gets in the way, insisting you download the + software. If that happens, refresh the page and click the button before it gets covered by the popup.
