macOS Sequoia 15.1 can't reed any dmg files. Operation not permitted.

After the latest update of my Mac to Sequoia, I can't open any dmg files and basically not able to install anything. Tried to attach it through terminal, doesn't work either. Tried to get info - unlock the file, all set. Any help?

I don't know about the original poster, but I've definitely been seeing the same thing. Getting the error "hdiutil: attach failed - no mountable file systems" with known-good DMGs. Seeing it both with quarantined files, de-quarantined files and even properly-signed ones. I'm not sure if it's my own Mac or an issue with Sequoia, but these are DMGs that will mount just fine on macOS 14 systems. Not even sure where to investigate, never mind where to fix.
