Lost phone- Is the website legit?

So my dad just lost his iPhone a couple days back. We had gone into his iCloud account and reported it as lost on ‘Find my Phone’. We put a message that said phone is stolen and if found call xxxxxx (my mom’s phone number). Yesterday she had gotten a call from an American number and it was labelled as apple support (they live in South Asia). Then she got a message on WhatsApp (kind of a red flag) with a link that said it was open for 24hrs and it was a map with the phone location. However, the website was map.my-iCloud.sa.com. This seems completely fake to me. But I am unsure since my mom also did miss a call from Apple support. Did anyone else ever get a link like this?
