How do I force MacOS Sequoia to remember the size and location of the Finder Window? Thanks.
However you set the size of position of the finder window it won’t save tjff we configuration, I have spoke with Apple support about it and they said you can increase the size and set it in one spot of the screen but after few minutes finder back to itself set it up you can’t change it
Generally, the window should open in the last place it was open before. I just tested this with a Finder window. I move it to the lower right corner, closed it and opened it again (command - N). It was in the same place it was before I closed it. I don't know if this persists beyond a restart. I rarely restart my computer.
If you switch to a different desktop, the window will open in where ever it was last closed on that desktop.

I am going CRAZY because Sequoia 15.1.1 WON'T REMEMBER the sizes and locations of windows! I have tried the "adjust the size" but that does nothing. I close the window of any given drive and open it back and it is not the place or size that I just adjusted it to. Why? I have an M1 Mac Mini with 16GB. It is updated to the latest OS. But since at least one major OS back this has been a problem. Please tell me how this can be fixed! I am hoping my brand new M4 Pro isn't going to suffer from this issue but I'm not getting my hopes too high.
Please fix it!
