How do I update My Card on iPhone?

Looking for some advice, an iPhone I own has a phone number that has appeared at the top of the contacts app that is not the phone number which is registered with my simcard. Therefore the icon has changed when I look at my Apple ID on settings. Should I complete a full factory reset of the phone? Does this phone have a virus? thanks

There are no viruses that can affect non-jailbroken iPhones.

You can set any contact as your card at any time. Go to Settings ➜ (Apps) ➜ Contacts ➜ My Info and select the contact you want to use. You can then delete the other contact if you want.

Also, note, that the info card has no direct link to the number from your SIM card. It is just the contact you select with whatever information it has in it.
