Mail icon missing out of settings

Are you saying the Mail app is missing from your iPhone or are you saying you can't find Mail in Settings? If you can't mail in settings and you updated your iPhone to iOS 18, the settings for most apps can be found by:

1. Open Settings App
2. Scan down to the very last entry on the main settings page and you'll see Apps
3. Tap apps and all the apps are listed alphabetically, so look for mail and tap it there to get to the mail app settings

Mine doesn’t show up in the settings at all, not even in the apps list. Mail is literally just gone from my settings completely. I’m baffled

EDIT: nevermind, I just figured out how to get it back

You might try sliding your home screen to the Left until you reach the last page App Library

Type in Mail in the top Search Window.

When it comes up slide the mail app Icon back to your Home Screen and it should stay there.

If you want it in the bottom Apple App Window slide the mail app Icon down in to that position.

In this regard, the mail works as it pretty much always have, so I'm not sure what you mean by toggling email off and on? You did find the mail app on your phone, didn't you?

Apps are listed alphabetically. The app is called Mail.

I had the same problem I could not figure it out for the life of me. Called Apple Support as I have their protection plan. And the lovely lady guided me to the fact that I had my VPN on and it was blocking it. And when I turned it off, and went into apps, I was able to find my mail icon and install it and now I’m fine. Everything works good. But I would change my passwords if you can just through it Apple ID.

Mine was too, but I did buy insurance for three years sooo the lovely gal at Apple Support helped me. It was my McAfee anti-virus VPN preventing it from showing up in my apps. If you have a VPN, it can mess it up. Turn off antivirus and VPN, restart the phone and make sure VPN is off. Hope this works for you. My security is back on and it’s now fine.
