Updating to Final Cut Pro 11 on Mac

I want to update to Final Cut Pro 11 on my MacBook Pro with M1 Max. It introduces useful features such as the Magnetic Mask (to isolate people and objects within a video clip without the need for a green screen or the labor-intensive process of rotoscoping) and Transcribe to Captions (automatically generates closed captions directly in the timeline). These features would be very useful for my workflow.

Questions:

1 - I'm currently unable to find the update in Mac App Store. Is anyone else able to update to it?

2 - How has your experiences been with updating older Final Cut Pro libraries to the current version? Has it been stable or has the libraries needed to be converted?

3 - What languages are supported for the Transcribe to Captions functionality?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.1

Go to the Final Cut Pro page. It should show Update there. If it doesn’t, move the application to the trash, don’t empty it. The FCP App Store page should then show Download.
