Iphone 16 Pro Max lagging after unlocking phone to use it

Does anyone have this lagging issues? Whenever I unlock my phone to use it, it lags 97% of the time while scrolling and swiping. I always need to lock my phone and unlock it again for the lag to be gone, it's very irritating to keep doing this. I already emailed Apple about this issue but they didn't reply back.
