Error Code B28374 When Using Chase Ultimate Rewards Points at Checkout

I was able to place my order, and the Chase Executive Office adjusted the points after the order shipped.

If you do decide to cancel your CSR, you can downgrade to a different Chase card with a lower or no annual fee.

Alternatively, open an account with Hyatt and transfer your points there.

Having same issue since beginning of the month. Called Chase Ultimate Rewards twice both times with no resolution, just that they know about the issue but there's no fix.

The issue entirely rests with Chase Bank. This is not an Apple issue. I’m happy to answer any questions if further clarification is needed.

Confirmed. It’s a extra level of security that is on your account that is blocking the order.

I suspect it’s the block I have on all payments that are unapproved.

I have been having this issue since Oct. 29th and Chase has not been able to resolve it.

I tried changing my address, also the item I was ordering, still no luck.

Was anyone able to have this issue fixed? TIA

I've confirmed this issue isn't across the board applicable for all people. My brother also has a Sapphire Reserve card and he was able to redeem his points for the exact same product I was trying to redeem, so this is somehow specific to us only.

I hope you are too! My concern is, how is Apple going to know who to contact? I spoke with Apple in the USA last Monday and thay said the problem was on Chase's end. ???

On a side note, I tried paying for the products with points and using my CC to pay for the taxes. Still got the "no can do" B28374 error code. Today the taxes showed up as a charge on my CC transactions on the website, but then it was credited back to me. Again, ???

All I know is I've been paying for 2 CSR CCs (one for me and one for my wife) for years now and this is the first time I've tried to redeem points. We've accumulated over 600K and, If I don't get to use the points for what I want, then I'm seriously considering cancelling the card and leaving Chase altogether. There are other rewards cards that will give me airport lounge access!

Thank you for the update. The mods removed part of the CEO’s email, because posting email addresses is against terms and conditions. No big deal it’s easy to Google the address.

Just an update. On Dec 3rd I was told via a phone call from the Chase Executive Office that Chase was aware of my problem and I would be getting a call from the appropriate Chase department to get my issue "resolved." As of today, Dec 9th, I haven't heard from anyone from Chase.

I have the POC's name and direct phone line. I'll call them later today and ask where things are at. I'll be sure to keep the group posted.

Contact the CEO via email and just explain your frustration. Chase will take care of you.

Sorry! As we said in the Army, "Inattention to detail Sir, no excuse." As you said though, a simple google search provided the info pretty quickly.
