Can't reset my iCloud password

Hello,


Someone tried to hack my iCloud account the other day, so I changed my password quickly and I can't remember it now. When I try to reset my password, they ask me to provide some information ( credit card related) and then I have to wait 3-2 days. Once the wait is over they ask me to write a code that I receive via SMS, I enter the code to move forward, but then they ask me to provide the current password in order to change it lol. It's very frustrating, I have been struggling with this for 15 days now.... pls help
