How to check if someone accessed my Apple TV while in storage?

I have an Apple TV in storage at my parents’ place. I’m wondering if there’s a way I could check if it was plugged in and, therefore, accessed by anyone. I had it under the “Devices” section and deleted it right now, but I can’t recall if a password was required when starting the Apple TV. Was it? Also, what information could've been seen by them?

Looks like it Remove a device from Find Devices on iCloud.com - Apple Support. However, sounds like overkill to me. If the ATV is turned on from an unfamiliar outside location, it and most Apps will anyway force a relogin. You can test this out easily. IMO best to simply keep it in your person and/or lock it away in a safe place.

Additionally, if you are router-savvy, you can block it on your router.
