When I go to the Apple icon on my TV and open it, it asks me for a password every time. Why? When I put the password in it still wants me to verify .is this necessary?

Please keep your TV system software up-to-date, so that the Apple TV app can stay up-to-date. The Apple TV app is supposed to keep using the last used account, unless you sign out, reset the app, or re-install the app.
