Apple Music deleted CD imported songs

I searched and found an old post but no one had answers.

Apple Music has deleted many songs that I imported from CDs. When I select one of the albums, the majority of the songs are still there, along with the album list and album art. But several songs are greyed out and, when I select them, it says the song is not available in my country. I’m not trying to access the Apple Music store streaming service but my own library of music that I purchased.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a technical fix?

And does anyone know if this is legal under the user agreement? I have to suspect the vast majority of Gen Xers who grew up with CDs and spent hundreds of hours uploading songs to iTunes (now imported into Music) are missing songs.
