I recently upgraded to the series 10 Apple Watch after experiencing an issue with workouts pausing during exercise on my older Apple Watch however even with the series 10 I’m still having the same exact issue whether lifting weights, running, walking or mixed cardio. Seems ridiculous to have to continuously restart the watch and/ or phone prior to every workout. Any one else experiencing this?

Did you disable "Autopause" in Settings/Workouts on your watch?
Or are you using a 3rd party workout app?
I also disabled the reminder for "End Workout" in these settings.
With these settings, the Indoor Workout only pauses if I manually stop the workout on my Ultra 2.

Auto pause only affects outdoor run and outdoor cycle.
The other pauses must be due to some other reason, eg loose strap, actual long pause ending the workout (see Ingo2712 End Workout reminder)
