Hisense Vidaa Apple TV

I’ve had my Vidaa for over a year now, but rarely use my apple TV. I cannot access my purchased or rented movies/shows at all, even though they’re rented through apple themselves. I don’t have a library option either. my specific Vidaa doesn’t let me cast devices at all, so I can’t try that route. I reset the app, deleted and redownloaded it, even restarted the whole TV.


any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Some models smart TV get the full Apple TV app, with Library and Store, and other models get the specialized (somewhat limited) Apple TV+ app, without Library or Store. Note the Plus in the app name to reflect the emphasis on the Apple TV+ streaming service. Unfortunately it is not user choice, but manufacturer choice, by model.


Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV or streaming device - Apple Support



TVs that are unsupported for the full Apple TV app, can still get access to the full Apple TV app by connecting an external HDMI streaming device that supports this app edition. That can be an Apple TV box, Roku, Fire TV, PlayStation (4, 5), Xbox (One, One S, X, S), ‘Chromecast with Google TV’-dongle, or Nvidia Shield TV box.
