Shazam in Control Center Doesn’t Sync to App or Spotify

I’ve been facing a frustrating issue with Shazam for quite some time now, and I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same or has found a solution.




I have Shazam connected to Spotify, and when I use the Shazam app directly, everything works perfectly. The recognized tracks are automatically added to my Shazam library and synced with my Spotify playlist. This makes it super convenient to keep track of new music.




However, when I use the Shazam button in the Control Center (which is a great feature for quickly recognizing songs in the background), the recognized song doesn’t appear in the Shazam app. I only get a notification with the song info. If I don’t immediately click on the notification, the track is completely lost—nothing gets added to my Shazam library or synced with Spotify.




It’s incredibly frustrating because I use the Control Center Shazam feature a lot, and I expect it to sync with my Shazam account and Spotify playlist automatically, just like the app does. This issue has been happening for over four months now, and it seems like there’s been no fix or acknowledgment from Shazam.




Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a workaround to ensure songs recognized via Control Center sync to the app and Spotify? It’s really disappointing to lose so many songs like this.




Any help or updates would be appreciated!
