Apple Prevents Parental Controls for Cameras for 13 Year Old Kids
My wife and I couldn’t understand why our daughter was able to use the camera on her phone even though we had it turned off in screentime. The Apple Store informed/shocked us that Apple prevents parents from turning off cameras or FaceTime once kids turn 13 years old. The only reason we allowed our daughter to have a phone was to text us and listen to music. Everything else was turned off. Parents need to wake up, demand change or change phones.
