Music accidentally downloaded on Apple Music voiding iTunes purchase

Last year I was testing out different music streaming services seeing which one I preferred, and I tried out Apple Music since, “hey, three months free why not? If I like it I’ll keep it.” I ended up liking it, but I really ended up liking YouTube premium more, so I move on with my life only to realize much later. I had accidentally downloaded music on Apple Music that I had Previously PAYED for that’s now unavailable to redownload on ITunes. I don’t know what is going on, I can’t even repurchase it in iTunes!

Bumble, Delete the subscription copy from your library and then you should be able to re-download the purchased copy (assuming it is still available in the Store).

Redownload music from the iTunes Store on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Bumble,

Make sure the subscription copies of the songs are fully out of your library.
Make sure the album is currently available in the iTunes Store. Search directly in the Store (outside the re-download process) and see if it is there.
If the re-download process is still unsuccessful, contact Apple Support for assistance.

I deleted the album in Apple Music, but it still won’t let me re-download in iTunes. The purchase option is greyed out and not selectable; while the songs are still blue and say purchased, but won’t let download them again. The download wheel just spins for a few seconds and then goes back to blue.

Also let me clarify, the music says purchased in iTunes, but it doesn’t give me the option to re-download. So I’m really asking does downloading purchased music in Apple Music void iTunes purchases?
