Apple cash unauthorized transaction

I was just taken for $540 thru an apple cash transaction. I lost $540 and am having to dispute it with my bank who says it will take 10 days for investigation. I didn't even have an apple cash account before I made one in order to get customer service in the phone. It seems someone added my card #to their apple pay account and sent money to somewhere. Apple cash says they have no way of knowing who did it since they can't track the transaction since I just made an apple cash account after the fact. I'm so ****** off that money was supposed to pay some bills and now I'm stuck waiting to get my money back.
