Unable to open SBI Yono lite application in my IP14

When I try to open SBI Yono lite application on my Ip14 the following error is coming

“Your device appears to be rooted. Rooting a device exposes the device to malware, privileged access of operating system and access to your data. It is advised not to use the rooted device to perform Banking activities.”

iPhone 14, iOS 18

I suspect the app developer didn’t bother to update their app to recognize the newest version of ios and doesn’t understand what it’s seeing. Contact the app developer.


Another possibility is you’re running an ios beta. I would not expect them to have updated their app to recognize the beta. You’ll have to revert to the shipping version of iOS or wait for the developer to catch up..


Unless of course, you did decide to jailbreak your phone, in which case all bets are off.

I have found a solution to this issue. Kindly update to IOS 18.2 thereafter uninstall and reinstall Yono SBI Lite it will start working. It worked for me too. It seems that App developer has resolved the issue. After reinstalling it is advised not to install IOS Beta updates as it may again malfunction due to non-continuous updates of application by app developer.
