Can I use Sony TV’s built in Wi-Fi as my Wi-Fi on IPhone?

As far as I know, the Sony wi-fi feature will only allow you to connect to the TV and then stream things from your iPhone to the TV. It doesn't give your phone a wi-fi connection to the internet like a wi-fi router does. See the following from https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00015505
Wi-Fi Direct® allows you to wirelessly connect a device to the TV without using a wireless router, and then stream videos, photos, and music from that device directly to the TV.
