Logic 11.1 wiped out my control surface customizations

I have a Mackie MCU Pro with an Extender and a C4. I had created many customizations for these to go with my workflow, it's great when you just have a button and don't have to use the mouse.

I also keep a backup of the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file (the place where the customizations are stored) as a just in case.

Logic 11.1 wiped out my customizations, so I figured that the update simply wrote over the file. I replaced it with my backup, but no go.

Unfortunately this is hours of work on stuff that saves me hours of work, all down the tubes.

Judging from some of the other comments in the forum, for those who were excited like I was, to be able to easily reorder tracks, maybe you should make a backup first, just in case you want to roll back, like I am about to do right now (sigh.)

Just fired up 11.1 and found my MCU Pro & Extender Pro are both acting strangely. Have deleted and reinstall a couple of times. I get 2 sets of 8 tracks 1-8 & 1-8 on each machine, instead of the expected 16. Weird happenings with the mute buttons. Touch to select channel totally freaks out both units.

I had switched over from StudioOne to Logic when I moved to the Mac Studio. Had same sort of problems at first, then over about a 4 month period and few updates everything was working as should be.

Now I gotta go through this again?

Frustrating!!!!
