Charlie Brown Thanksgiving streaming unavailable without a streaming subscription?!?

Is anyone else out there extremely disappointed that there are only two days allowed for free streaming of Charlie Brown Thanksgiving? For those of us who own an iphone, airpods, mac, etc., and are supporting the purchase of apple products, it seems to me that we should be granted permission to watch this wonderful classic film for free any time. Since the film rights have been purchased by apple and it is no longer available to stream on any other platform, I personally feel as though it is being held hostage. Makes me very sad to think that such a massive company would do this. :(

Apple purchased the distribution rights to the Peanuts filmography, for it to be included in the Apple TV+ catalog. Access to Apple TV+ content requires a subscription. There may be occasional extra perks.

While they have done some free access in recent years for holiday specials, any current or future free availability, and the duration is to be set by Apple as they see fit. Buying devices doesn’t grant you access to any of that. Buying an iPhone gives you an iPhone, that’s it. You are already getting something for free with these free access days. Subscribe if you want to watch outside of these designated periods.
