Unable to migrate my data from a m3 MacBook Pro to M4 in the normal manner

What is wrong with the M4? I purchased a m4 MacBook Pro. The store has been unable to migrate my data from a m3 MacBook Pro in the normal manner. They want to do a manual transfer. I do not want a “ work around “. I want to know the problem. They want to send me home with a sick baby. I do not want a $2,000. Computer with unresolved problem. Who can answer this. This data was migrated from a Air to a MacBook Pro m3. Why can’t it be migrated to an m4. What is wrong? Where can I complain.

Not certain hat you mean by "normal manner".

Moving Specfic Content to a New Mac:
