Why is my AirPods Pro 2 ringtone volume is low?

On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Visual > Headphone Accommodations, then turn off Headphone Accommodations.

If you did a hearing test and have turned on a hearing aid, please turn it off too.

Then, put your AirPods into the case and take them out again. It should help.

Me too. I tried everything but it always stays at the minimum. In an Apple Store they confirmed to me that they know the problem, born with iOS 18.1. Let's hope that 18.2 solves the issue.

Same. it started with 18.1. Prior to 18.1, I have seen reports where the volume with painfully loud. I was not impacted by that but 18.1 has the volume so low now that I almost miss calls. I cannot find a way to adjust this as I have tried every setting I can put my hands on.
