HomePod stuck configuring

I am trying to add a new HomePod to our network. Was very excited about having an opportunity to have in stereo mode. However, I’m not able to get this new move past configuring mode. I’ve reset it three or four times with the hope that it would push through this process And each time it still gets stuck for hours without any resolution. I love Apple, but this is a ridiculous process and I can’t believe that they can’t get this right. Any suggestions?
