Apple TV+ jerky on Chrome and refuses to launch videos on Apple TV+ App

Hi All,

I've got an M1 macbook pro with Apple TV+ installed.

Videos are jerky when played on Chrome (not mirroring or sending to TV) and when I try the app, I'll click on a title and it will go black for a couple of seconds and return to the menu screen. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, to no avail. Also, titles will not download from the app.

I've got a paid sub to the service - any ideas?
