Siri issues since iOS 18.1 and AI

I recently upgraded my iOS and added Apple Intelligence on my 16 pro max.

Ever since then Siri has been given me all sorts of weird issues.

At times when I try to tell her to text someone while in the car connected to Bluetooth, she’ll tell me I have to unlock my iPhone first. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of hands free? I didn’t use to have to do this.

When I ask her to play music it gets weirder. She’ll either play the song, or she starts reading a Wikipedia type entry of the artist I just ask her to play. She’ll also say she can’t show me the results while I’m in the car…I don’t ask for results I asked for a song.

The other strange thing is which I’ve talked to Apple about is her response when I asked her to play Shinedown-A Symptom of Being Human…she thinks I’m in a medical related issue and tells me if it’s something serious to call medical services.

sometimes when i activate Siri she’ll not hear me even if i “scream” and just shut back off.

has anyone else experienced these issues?
