"phone calls cutting in/out while using carplay"

-------

Increasing Low CarPlay Audio:

A. Update to Audio System's Firmware:

In your car, see if updating the firmware of the stereo is an option. Typically, you cn do this through use of a mobile device.

B. Re-Pair this:

Use Forget this Device on your audio system, and then add your phone back. You may have to do so, while in park. Refer to your Driver's Manual for direct instructions on this.

C. Force Restart the iPhone:

While the iPhone is synced, Force Restart it.

D. Increase the Audio System's Volume:

Increasing the volume of the audio system may the job. I'd expect it to the a knob on the stereo, or a button to do so.

E. Increase the iPhone's Volume:

If the volume of the iPhone is down, it may not work. This may include that of the Phone app; not just the iPhone.

Thank you for the followup reply.

Increasing Low CarPlay Audio:

A. Contact your Carrier:

You may need to get a new SIM card or eSIM card, deepening on your location.

B. Get this Diagnosed by Apple:

There would be no cost to it. Thing is, I do not think they would look at it if you do not set up a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. So, et one up, seeing where things can go from here.
