Why would Select All be greyed out for the simple JPEG I am viewing? I want to copy the whole image into another program. What steps should I take to get Select All active again?
MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.6
Exit Preview application
Drag the .jpeg image into the desired application
Depending on the application, some have the ability to Import the image
Illustration would the Photos application
Once choosing Import, you will have to Point the Import to the location where the .jpeg image file is located
Select All is greyed out in Preview 11.0 on Sonoma
