Unable to remove my expired Apple Gift Cards from Apple Wallet

I have four Sainsbury’s and two Marks & Spencer’s expired gift cards stuck in my Apple wallet and I can’t seem to remove them. I follow the instructions about going into Apple Pay and editing wallet removing cards, but they are not showing in in there, only my bank payment cards. Does anybody else have a fix for this? I’ve also tried hide ‘expired cards off and switching it back on’ that hasn’t worked either no magic 3 dots anywhere I can see either :( Why does Apple make it soooo hard???
