iPhone 16 Pro Max's battery dropped from 80% to 55% in just one hour

The 16-pro max battery is an exaggerated claim being made. My 516-GB pro max battery dropped from 80% to 55% in just one hour. I had Apple Music playing in lossless format for 30 minutes, followed by browsing the internet and adjusting settings. It is unclear why this significant battery drain occurred. I invite you to experience this for yourself and provide feedback if you believe my observations are accurate.

You could have adjusted things like turning off Background App Refresh for apps that you don’t need it running (such as Facebook) first to see if they helped versus deleting. If you tend to get a lot of notifications from Facebook you could turn that off unless you just absolutely need to get the notifications for every action. Also, I doubt that most of us upgraded for the “powerful battery” unless they were coming from an older iPhone that had lower battery life even when new. I personally have not had any issues with my battery nor have I had to delete anything. I always check my settings when getting a new device or updating to a new major iOS just to be sure things are still at the best options for my use. Going through yours may actually be a good idea

I believe your observations are accurate, but I also believe there may be underlying conditions that you’re not aware of and therefore not reporting.

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and this could be the best iPhone battery I’ve ever had.

Let’s see your last 10 days of battery performance and which apps are consuming your daily battery capacity.

So i have tweaked my phone a bit. Removed facebook which was using most of my battery off-course due to usage. Changed the weather update setting from always to never and also removed its widget. Obviously I'm expecting stability in my battery after this but then again most of us have upgraded to a 16 pro max mostly for a powerful battery as claimed. Whats the point when we have to delete the same apps which we are using after buying a new phone? Your thoughts please!
