Save Application State Folder Not Backing Up With Time Machine. . . .

For some reason it seems as though the user library is being backed up, yet when going into a back up and the user library folder the "Saved Application State" is missing. Not sure why such an important folder is not being backed up, what is the point of a back up if it only backs up what it wants??

Anyone else having the same problem?

Running latest version of Sequoia but it appears to be missing on my old back up of 10.14 as well.

When opening Time Machine the folder is there but only as a snapshot and only goes back a few hours and I need it from the previous day.

ISSUE RESOLVED????

So ever since Apple started gouging on internal storage prices the base drives have remained VERY SMALL!! That being said the only to combat this is either pay the hefty price to upgradethe storage or do what I did which was by a thunderbolt external drive and run the user folder off of that.

So after looking through several back ups I noticed that if the "user folder" is located on the actual internal storage that came with the computer, (in my case a second user) the Saved Application State folder is indeed backed up. So I guess the solution here is to either run the user off the computer with all files pointing to an external drive or find another back up solution.

At the end of the day you are always trading one set of problems for another!!
