After changing my battery on my old iPhone 12 Pro I got a error message 53 on iTunes on iOS 18.1, no matter what I do, I always get the same error message, I already tried all the advise on answers of people on integer like the following instructions

Here's what to check. Try again after each step:

  1. Use the USB cable that came with your device. If you don't have it, use another Apple-certified USB cable.
  2. Switch to a different USB port on your computer. Don't plug into your keyboard.
  3. Switch to a USB port on a different computer.
  4. If you still see the error, check for other USB issuescheck your third-party security software, then check your hardware.

If you have VPN installed on your PC, or you have an antivirus running, that is what is covered in Step 4. Try disabling VPN and your antivirus.

Actually I did it by myself, I have done this before, the original battery was damaged with the flex too, so I changed for generic and still same error, I got the battery of my Daughter and take off the iCloud to see if that it’s the problem, and same error, when I changed it was working properly, but I just tried to restore from iTunes and it’s stuck with the same error… generic battery or original from other phone doesn’t work… and the old battery it’s totally damaged…

As you said the battery it’s liked to the serial number, but besides of new update from Apple, it’s any solutions?

thank you for the replay
