Magic Keyboard not closing all the way

As soon as I got my magic keyboard, it fit in there perfectly enclosed perfectly but now all of a sudden there’s a huge gap between where it closes and since I have OCD, it gives me anxiety and I’m confused like did it like wear out or something cause now I’m getting so frustrated. I just wanna tape it closed.
