Share AirTags with kids / child account

I know that it's currently not possible, but I just want to point out the issue that one can NOT share an AirTag with a kid. I think it's absolutely nonsensical. Tow of the main reasons we all use iPhones in our family is the security that the family sharing option provides and the seamless connectivity between our devices.

I was really irritated to find that we can't share AirTags with our kids though. It would really be beneficial to be able to track the whereabouts of the keys and (sport-) schoolbags of our kids.
