exporting icloud contacts

I have some very detailed instructions I created to export my iCloud contacts to a file and then import that file into my email program like Thunderbird. It started with going to iCloud>Contacts and going to the bottom left of the screen and select all and export to file. Today 11/18/24, there is no menu on the iCloud contacts BOTTOM LEFT! I did find a share indication on top right and after trial and error it seems you have to select all manually (or hold shift/control thing) first and then export to vcard is the only option.

This seems so much longer and I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or missing something..it seems things have changed for this function and cannot find any newer posts on this topic.

Any help is appreciated.
