I have loaded the messaging app "Signal" on my iPhone and iPad but can't seem to load it on my MacBook Air. Any suggestions?

When I searched for the app in the App store it stated that the app was not compatible with this device

Try downloading directly from Signal:

O.k, so it's not compatible. There's nothing much to do if it's not compatible.

If its not compatible, then it cannot be installed on a Mac.

Just because there are versions of iPad and iPhone does not mean there's a compatible version for Mac.

The developer would need to make a Mac specific version, or if you are using an Apple silicon Mac, allow the iPad version to run on a Mac, for some reason they have chosen not to do so.

Contact the developers of Signal and tell them you would like a Mac version.
