Crackling sound in the earpiece of my iPhone

This is not regarding CarPlay. Can’t change my profile name for some reason.

Earpiece crackles, no sound or goes in and out, works then crackles only sound comes from the bottom of the phone. Can’t make a normal phone call without using speaker, but still hear crackling and barely any sound coming through the earpiece. Did all the resets turn the phone off airplane mode, etc. I don’t want to go into the store again for another issue with this phone or this update.. please help!! Any suggestions other than the norm would help!

Unfortunately, this is not the issue. It crackles and you can hear anything in the earpiece part. It’s all of a sudden. It work intermittently and have to use speakerphone to hear anything. Example ~ Music and phone call only will play clear on bottom of phone. Even voicemails etc. it sounds like it’s blown however toggling of airplane mode and restart of phone, sounds adjustments etc doesn’t seem to help. Only occasionally.

I spent so much $ on the newest and best and have multiple issues. I believe it’s an update issue not a phone issue. As all I rely heavily to use the phone for work and CarPlay etc. the list I’ve already have done and no resolution. Please help!!! Thank you
