Someone is trying to Activate my lost iPad

I lost my iPad 2 years ago. I reported it as Lost and Erased it contents to protect myself.


i just received an email telling me that someone is trying to ACTIVATE the device.


The device is still in my Find My app.


What should I do?

There's nothing for you to do.


If anyone other than you attempts to re-activate the iPad, activation will fail - and the iPad will remain useless to whoever has possession of the stolen device.


Should you have any reason to believe (or suspect) that your AppleID credentials are known to anyone other than you, simply change your AppleID Password:

Change your Apple Account password - Apple Support
