iPad Air 2 switches of after update to 15.8.3

When using my iPad Air 2, it switches off after around 50% power and does not come up till fully charged. Had got the battery recently changed hence problem seems to be with the 15.8.3 as this stared happening the day I updated. Is Apple trying to force us to buy a new iPad. If so, this is morally and ethically wrong. Apple needs to give an update to get rid of this bug .

Was the iPad battery replaced by Apple - or an independent repairer. If the latter, your the battery is very unlikely to be an OEM part - and battery performance may not be as you might anticipate; you will need to seek assistance from the repairer who replaced your battery.

Had you received battery service from Apple, the iPad will have been exchanged for a refurbished device of the same model and specification - and will have benefit of a warranty. If the iPad battery is not performing as expected, you should return it to Apple for rectification.
