Iphone 13 crashing

I have an iPhone 13 (128gb) its battery that I last checked has significantly changed to 61 (I'm not sure how) but I have only had it for 2.5 years. Using it has been fine ofcourse until the past 2 days. My phone keeps crashing from 90% its crashing (rebooting) back to 10% then crashing again after a few minutes. Today during the day it was only usable if it was in a constant charging state. Now tonight, it doesn't turn on even when plugged into a battery. I have tried: force reboot, I have tried power off, it is on the latest software as well.

will changing a battery fix this or is there a diff issue at hand?

Make a genius bar appointment and have it checked out. Normally batteries should be replaced if the maximum capacity falls below 80%, and yours is well below that: iPhone Battery Replacement - Official Apple Support
